First firing of 2012

I had to take a little time off after Christmas, mainly to reorganize my studio and a little R&R with the fam. I finally got back to work last week and here are few my favs :) Introducing my new design- OCTOPOT! I love her!

I've been devoting a lot of my time lately, working on my Artfire site. The website is super easy to use and looks great! Im having a 10% OFF EVERYTHING in my shop until I reach 10 sales! New items coming very soon!

I really love making these pots! It takes hours to roll all of the spikes and attach them, sculpt the feet, carving,sanding, firing and the finally glazing and refiring before I can actually see these "come to life". I love every step!

#1 rule in the studio is there aren't any rules. I don't really look toward other things for inspiration and 50% of the time I have no idea what I'm making when I start, that's the best part of doing what I do :)
