I love July!

In July, when I'm not making pottery, you'll usually find me outside in the garden or in my kitchen. The weather has been AWESOME here in NE Ohio! And my garden in seriously out of control, but in a good way.
So I've been busy canning jams and pickles and making a BUNCH of new pottery!

Large Spiked Grouchy Pot

I threw this pot on my potters wheel. After trimming the pot I added 3 sculpted feet to the bottom, I then covered the outside surface of the pot with hundreds of little spikes. The pot was then dried and bisque fired.
After the first firing I used several glazes to get the color shown, It was then refired.

There is a drainage hole in the bottom!

7 inch diameter
10 inches tall
6 1/2 inches deep

I threw these bowls on my potters wheel. After trimming the bowls, I pressed squares into the outside surface of the bowls. They were dried and bisque fired.
After the first firing I used several glazes to get the glaze shown. They were then refired.

FOOD SAFE!
The smaller bowl holds just about a cup
The larger bowl hold about 1 1/2 cups
