I really love making these pots! It takes hours to roll all of the spikes and attach them, sculpt the feet, carving,sanding, firing and the finally glazing and refiring before I can actually see these "come to life". I love every step!

#1 rule in the studio is there aren't any rules. I don't really look toward other things for inspiration and 50% of the time I have no idea what I'm making when I start, that's the best part of doing what I do :)
What's your #1 rule?

I made these spike pendants from little balls of clay. After forming the piece, I added spikes to the entire top sides of the pendants.
